The Two Line Heatwave Hockey Series was built from a simple idea — to create a better summer hockey experience for players and families in the Halifax area.

Founded by Anthony Peterson, a dedicated hockey parent and passionate supporter of youth development, the program was inspired by years spent around the game watching his son grow as a goaltender. Through those experiences, it became clear that there was a need for something more — a program that combined competition, development, and affordability in a positive and high-energy environment.

Launching in 2026, the Heatwave Hockey Series marks the beginning of a new kind of summer hockey in Halifax.

This isn’t just another league — it’s a carefully designed experience focused on:
